Since 2001, I’ve had a blast being a broadcaster as a music DJ, a news announcer, a talk show host, and now partnering with Jessica each morning on JOYFUL NOISE and afternoon on THE AFTERNOON JOLT!
Jessica and I have so much fun each day. She’s a treat to work with. We play great music that praises The Lord and share laughs and conversations that lift our spirits and hopefully yours too. The conversations are sometimes serious, sometimes playful. We make a lot of noise and have a good time doing it — MORNINGS & AFTERNOONS
How faith comes alive for me
For me, “Faith Comes to Life” in conversation. Sometimes it can be a heartfelt conversation with a fellow believer, other times it can be a challenging discussion with someone full of doubt and disbelief. Either way, it’s an opportunity to listen and learn and hopefully grow in faith and love for Jesus Christ.
How I came to be a Chistian
Growing up, I attended church with my family and really got connected with the youth group in my middle school and high school. I am so grateful to God for Him drawing me close to him in my younger years.
As I grew older and graduated from college, God gave me opportunities to serve Him in church youth ministry and college campus ministry. Now at WDJC, God has given me a place to bring together my love of radio and passion for ministry — such a joy!
More about me
One funny thing about me is I love “going to the movies” but rarely do I actually enjoy the movie. My kiddos Charlie & Sarah and my Sweetheart Mandy often laugh at me because it’s always the same thing — I get pumped for a new movie, I’m excited to go, I grab my ticket and popcorn, the movie is a dud, I’m disappointed and yet I can’t wait to do it all over again!
